FA cup match against West Ham united

Its the FA cup, the last winners from the Midlands were Coventry.
Prior to that it was ourselves.
2 times in the last 50 odd years, a pretty poor return.
Maybe we can win it again.

This will sound dreadfully negative buddy, but I now have little interest on the FA Cup. For me, it no longer has the excitement, with most teams from the top 2 tiers fielding primarily reserves. To be honest, I consider a cup run will detract from our league performance, which is our priority.
However, I have great memories of my school days in the 60s, when we would all rush out to read the blackboard in the playground following the caretaker listing the ‘next round’ cup draws. Great excitement. Nowadays, I and “she who must be obeyed” don’t even bother to attend home cup matches.
Well done to all those who maintain their support though !

I'd rather have promotion, but still enjoy the glory of the Cup.

West Ham 0 - Baggies 1, Connor Townsend 9 mins.

Mind can see one of our lot getting sent off - we are going in a bit hard and late at the back.....that’s Barry and Ajayi now in the book and Hegazi probably should be as well
