sad to see you go spike ,but all discussions cant always go your way ,theres pros and cons to every discussion and you dont ever see my points of view and i cant understand the broken record attitude of the status quo fans who are prepared to just accept survival ,il never be able to accept this as iv been brought up that nothings ever good enough and always has to and can be bettered ,thats my way of life .

Sorry to see you go. Could you not reconsider? I always enjoy your opinion given in an articular manner. Some poor posts here but as they say 'variety is the spice of life'

I have been considering taking a sabbatical for some time now but recent events have just confirmed that we seem to be stuck on an endless loop on this site. I certainly have enjoyed some great discussions on the site and will keep a watching brief to see if they get back to that quality at some point then will engage once again.

Spike, there will always be some who will sing the same song over and over again, and I'm afraid that's just life. The important thing is not to get too bogged down with it.

Taking a sabbatical is probably a good thing to allow your mind to become refreshed, - but I wouldn't allow negativity to stop you from contributing to a site, - which after all welcomes all sorts.

It would be a boring world if we all thought the same, - and that is why football is such an interesting sport, - because there are endless permutations.

A real shame you’ve decided this Spike. Your contribution is fantastic but I can’t blame you as certain posters have already stopped plenty other contributors from using this site. They just don’t seem to understand how annoying they are.
