Lack Of Compliance With EFL Club Owners Forum Rule

Some blighter has written this email to the EFL at enquiries@efl.com.

    "Dear sirs,
It has come to my attention that Carlisle United Football Club's owners have not satisfied the rule about having an open public forum twice per year.

The last such event was in September 2018. You may wish to bring this to the attention of John Nixon, who is on several EFL committees and is Chairman of at least one committee. You may also wish to bring this to the attention of one of the 4 owners of Carlisle United Holdings, which holds 93% of the shares of Carlisle United Football Club (1921). The same person is a director and company secretary of both companies. It is John Nixon.

Of course this matter of Carlisle United's failure to comply with the open forum rule should be rectified forthwith, thus ensuring that no embarrassment occurs.
    "

I hope that none of you lot does anything similar. Do not write to the EFL at enquiries@efl.com.
Let's be clear about this, the email address that I hope you do not write to is enquiries@efl.com.

It seems that the owners are not breaking the rules and the EFL have replied to confirm that.

118.1.1 Clubs must be represented by the Club’s majority owner, board director(s) or other senior executive(s).

Presumably the club is Carlisle United Football Club (1921) Limited. Any forum with a director / senior executive of CUFC (1921) on the panel satisfies rule 118.1.1.
