    200 million investment

on team strengthening and training ground improvements

so a couple of players max then

not the hundreds of millions some would want

i owuld say any new owners would need to spend 300-350 mill just on players plus wages if they want us to compete top 4

let alone the ground and the right offs for selling what we do have

    200 mill aint a lot

Ash has spent 100 mill if we sign the loanees we have brought this window and what we spent in the summer
and that hasnt got us a lot

and he hasnt spent to much on the training facilities

so we shouldnt get to carried away

Ashley hasn't spent anything on keeping the facilities or the ground up to date in his time here, so naturally a lot of money would need to invested - primarily but not solely on players - if we want to get into the Top 4 asap.

It'll take years before we have a team that can do that.

Financial Fair Play anyone. Not possible to plough obscene amounts of money in.Bigger question should be if we are that well run as we keep getting told, why the hell does 200m need spending in the 1st place.

because players contracts run out players leave
most teams spend 100-140 mill mimimum a season i would guess

    the top teams even more

so 200 mill would be a little better than what we have .if some of it werent to be spent on the facilities

fair play you can get around by taking on more sponsors etc for a while

but we all know 200 mill aint going to make us much beter than we are already

which if 200 mill is the figure tells me this is more shelvey than the saudis

I think it will take close to a billion pound before we are a top 4 side year in year out

I will still rather have a club that actually looks to improve year on year and not be stuck in this perpetual top of bottom six is good enough mode we seem to be in.Reach for the stars and we might get over the moon but without someone igniting us we won't even have lift off.
