Never heard of him, funnily enough.

Tony Watt, who may have once scored a big goal in the Champions League, is also looking for a return to Scotland.

Sky apparently reporting we've turned down 750k for Scott from Hull.

If they put a million in front of that we might consider it, in light of some of the crazy prices quoted down south

A million would be hard to turn down but would depend on add ons and if we thought we could replace him in time.

Not convinced Scott will improve much more than where his status sits just now. So ... should we receive a firm bid of £1M upfront with potential add-ons I'd say we take it. That instant cash investment would surely secure us financially for a long time.
Caveat could be how long Chris Long is expected to be out for?

We have a history of youth leaving the club before reaching their potential. This should be lesson to those who think any different.
IMO had they remained another season(s) perhaps made an impact (?). IMO Scott and only 19 yrs has the potential to improve and my preference at Fir Park before selling … he will only get better. | would also prefer him play thru the middle and disagree others posting ’not ready’.
    Q. Why after a couple months Turnbull, same age and experience, hailed a hero, READY and worth £3m ?

I say … keep them as long possible and only when a excessive valuation received CONSIDER - £750k no where near his valuation.
We'll never improve if continue to sell our clubs future.

Agree with most of what dasdeid said but IMO Scott looks lost in games where he plays through the middle, as he showed later in the game against Hibs last week. His value will increase with more games and gaining experience in our league.

We also have no future if we don't sell...but it's certainly pleasing we're now stable enough to turn down bids you suspect may have been accepted in the past.

There was a time not that long ago where we would have accepted the first paltry bid of anything over £100k for any of our top players, thankfully we seem to have left those days behind if we're in a position to turn down £750k for Scott.

As for James Scott the player, I think it would benefit his game greatly if he stays with us rather than going down south at this stage. He's not ready for that level yet, indeed he's still got a fair bit to go before he's fully ready for the SPFL. Money talks though and that will be the deciding factor as always.
