    O/T serious question about veggies

Just watching a cooking programme about the above

Why do they make their food look like Burgers and sausages? Why not trees or grass? One recipe came on. Vegetarian sausage "Meat"
    Just wondering.

Because they would love a proper burger or a sausage but they won’t admit it.

This may shock you, but some people's reasons for reducing or eliminating their meat consumption have nothing to do with the taste or texture.

I think it’s about choice. If you want it buy it. If you don’t leaf it alone.

Doesn’t bother me either way. I buy and eat meat. What others choose to buy and eat doesn’t interest me.

    Up to them innit?

Some are veggie for health or allergy reasons

Some because they genuinely prefer it

But the vast majority are just attention seekers, living bland lives so they jump on a bandwagon in an attempt to make themselves look more "on trend"

You can spot them easily, they tell you that they are veggie regardless of the topic of conversation.

    I know a few ex-veggies.

It's a hard thing to stick to.

Surely if your body is craving meat then your body needs it?

It’s even worse when they make their dog’s vegetarian.
