The world of football management isn't that big, and word gets around. As Alex Ferguson said, choose your owner. Possible managers will know whats waiting for them at the Abbey, it wont be a secret. And because of this, some managers, the ones who want to get ahead, wont apply. Who wants to join a club where failure is the norm, and then you get fired?

Neil Warnock is in the betting, there is no chance of getting him. He shots from the hip, and hits between the eyes with logic and experience. Daniels Bonner and Strang will be playing chopsticks, while Warnock will insist on O mio Babbino Caro.

Barry wont change anything because it will mean he and the board have been wrong for a very long time. Ego wont allow it.

What we will get is a manager who wants a pay day. Its a shame that the club prides itself on signing youngsters so they can progress onwards, but wont look after managers in the same way.

Become manager of Cambridge United, have no power, lose, get blamed, get fired.

Daniels, Strang and Bonner must go. Clean sweep, start from zero, build a new club, re-invent itself. The way it is now cannot be sustained. New blood, new thinking, new attitudes, a new atmosphere is needed.

Will it happen? No.
