I honestly think he is a decent bloke and wanted to help out. The reality is that he's way out of his depth. He jumped in thinking he could make a difference but like you said it's finally dawning on him what kind of monster he's working for.

Exactly Kev I agree but like those before they think it's just about managing the club.He looks as if the reality has dawned on him.He should have listened to Shearer.He was beetroot red,flustering and stuttering his words,and saying them like he had the script in front of him.

I don't see any genuine knowledgable football manager working under Ashley unless he has a cast iron clause,( assuming he is a strong enough right man) giving him carte blanche control. Rafa came nearest to getting this until Ashley shat on him.

All the world and his dog know what a control freak Ashley is so we will be stuck with sheep like managers until Ashley either miraculously sells or eats himself to death.
