    Jan window...

Good/bad/indifferent, could have done with another striker but that’s what it is .
Hopefully Crankshaft can get wide and supply for Kane so he can finally do what he’s good at....

Think strengthening the defence will help whole shape of the team. Might allow/encourage Dorrans to play further up the pitch and link midfield to attack rather than being so deep and acting like a sweeper. Cranks might be the winger we have been asking for and it might give McDaid a bit of a nudge to get back to taking players on.

Only worry now is McPake and Nicholl. Can they keep their coaching to a minimum and let the players play what they see in front of them? This, for me, will be the acid test. If new players like Berra and Christie start fannying around with tippy tappy stuff then for me this will be a clear sign that the coaching staff are responsible and their future needs to be reviewed for next season.

If they do carry on playing tippy tappy stuff and they go on to reach the final of the promotion playoffs I'll admit I was wrong and never criticise tippy tappy tactics again.

AAgree. Also why drop Meekings and Hamilton after his motm performance last week. Marshall is injured so simple McGhee to Rab and Berra comes in. As you say, master stroke alternative move to drop your captain and last week's motm. This can't be good for team morale.

Would hope that you are wrong, but perhaps you have some justification. Was not at the game today so don't know if the same old same old tactics were used. Does not appear to have been a complete disaster and we did get a draw away from home. Is Nicholl just taking the training and setting up the cones etc?

From what I’ve heard Jimmy Nic can do the above just so long as he doesn’t dare to offer opinion to the manager on where he’s going wrong.

More ego than ability, more excuses than ideas and more protected than Israel. I’ve never seen such an inept manager last so long at our Club, can anyone explain why he’s still there?

Apparently because we have had a lot of managers so we should keep the ****iest, most inexperienced one we have ever had.
