    Walsall

I thought we played really well, with a weakened team, in the 2nd half, after being slightly off it in the 1st - shame all the goals were far end - couldn't see how bad a mess we made of theirs, or that Dan Powell put in the equalizer, though Oli Finney was just recognizable in the distance! Great to see Ports back (on bench) - almost symbolic surely as he must need a run out or two before he can really contribute again. Thanks to Swindon we are now 2nd - onwards & upwards under new ownership!

Agree were were not at our best in the first half. Misplaced passes short and long and with more changes to the starting 11. Second half a lot better and we actually wanted to win the ball and get on the front foot. Finneys goal was great to watch from the build up to the finish . This what Crewe are best at , moving the ball fast and not over complicating it with too many passes. A great win and 3 more points
