    Saddens me to report that young #rufc striker Jacob Gratton has a cruciate knee ligament injury and is unlikely to play again in 2020. Talented lad who has just signed his first pro deal. All the best to him in his recovery

    Yes it's bad news for him. A difficult injury to clear up plus in the football world it's far to easy to end up on the scrap heap. Easy to become forgotten.

    That is bad luck for Jacob, and just when he was in great form too. Let's hope that he makes a full recovery, although it will probably be a slow process.
