How would that work for the summer tournaments and pre-season Dave?

We have a season that extends / Splits through 2 years. Why not start in March and finish in December. As for the tournemants well, you just let the players go who are affected or you start earlier to compensate? After all, there are now a good number of players who leave for the ConCaf tournemant in January and we dont shut down for that!
