Saw their player go down but didn't see the contact. Ours was mailed on. Okay So let was looking for it but the defender duly obliged!
This is why Ainley should always be played in that position as he keeps the ball close to his feet and is quick when going into the box.
Our winner wasn't actually from an inch perfect cross (sorry Owen!) but in fact took a deflection off the defender which made it loop over the goalkeeper and Porter was superbly placed to nod in from close range ahead of a despairing defender.
One other comment: it was a bit alarming how were immediately second to the ball after our first goal. It was as if our total domination to that point had lulled our reactions.

Some corrections to stupid tech: 'let' = Ainley. "mailed" should be mailed.

A total team performance last night , yes people could single out players for MOTM but I give it to the whole team who worked hard for each other. We were on the front foot from the first minute and to be honest they game into the game with a good record but looked very ordinary. If there is one criticism can we afford to keep scoring late goals to win games . I would prefer us to be in the lead comfortably in the first half. but that is just a wish. The game against Plymouth appears to be a big one with the role we are on but I would take a draw.

Yes they certainly upped it after we scored, and were equal if not better than us. After they scored they reverted to how they played at 0-0.
Or, was it the team that scored sat back, or the team that conceded upped their game?
