If you had to get 45 points to survive the bottom half in the table would go down.

I suppose it is theoretically possible, but it means teams in the bottom four picking up points for the rest of the season at the rate a top six club does. It just isn't going to happen.

A good bit of info here, a little out of date but still relevant.

Just for fun, can anyone tell me

A/. The highest points tally that theoretically wouldn't win the Prem.
B/. The lowest points tally that could win the Prem.
C/. The highest points tally that won't ensure Prem safety.

Two points for each correct answer and a bonus point if you get all three correct.

    Good luck!

Forget Palestine on here BT, it will always end up like a long winded tennis match.
I'm on your side on that by the way, but I don't want to spend my life trying to move immovable objects.

    Now, about my questions....

You must all be waiting with baited breath for the answers to my quiz so here they are..

A/. The highest points tally that theoretically wouldn't win the Prem. 111 points (Could miss out on goal difference)
B/. The lowest points tally that could win the Prem. 38 points (goal difference again)
C/. The highest points tally that won't ensure Prem safety. 69 points (could be relegated on goal difference)

And the winner is... no one.
