Wiz's 1st DCFC goal shouldn't have stood. If we'd had VAR it wouldn't have stood.

The ball comes in, gets diverted skywards, comes back down, bounces, hits Curtis's arm, falls to the Wiz who prods it home.

The weird thing about the handball Law as it stands is that, in our box, it wouldn't have been handball. At the time the ball hit Curt's hand in their box, it wasn't handball either. Only once Wiz prodded it in, did it become handball. The officials missed it so the goal was given. The Northampton players missed it as they didn't appeal. VAR wouldn't have IMO and the goal would have been chalked off.

This is the problem, an incident isn't a free kick, anywhere on the pitch, unless it leads to a goal. This is so alien to me. It's either right or it's wrong. None of this unless......... garbage. Either Curt handled it or he didn't. It's perfectly obvious that, according to the test for handball it wasn't handball. However, as it led to a goal, it suddenly becomes one........ that can't be right.............. but it is and is exactly why the handball Law needs improving.
