My Dad always use to take me in the East paddock or Gallowgate. I was only little but was never allowed in the leazes end cos he said that's where the rough b@stards were. My last game before we emigrated was against Exeter in the FA cup in 1981 , drew 1-1. Never went to the replay thankfully, we got battered.
