I've visited Craven Cottage twice , the first time was as Roma's alluded to the famous friday night victory in 1981 .
The second was in January 1986 under Allan Clarke part two .
Prior to the Fulham game we'd been dumped out of the FA cup at lowly Bury , as bad an FA cup performance as you'll ever see , we were dreadful .
No bugga wanted to go to Fulham so I went on my own on the train .
Had a few beers in central London and caught the tube to Putney Bridge .
I decided to sit with the Fulham fans in the stand where the Thames is .
There were less than 50 reds fans on the open terrace that day and that maybe an exaggeration .
We were awful again and lost 2-0 .
I wondered why I'd bothered .
Had a few more beers in Leicester Square after the game before heading for Kings Cross and home .
As unremarkable as that , I haven't been since !!!!!!!!
