I’d never watched the rubbish she presented but I just said to my wife that this is very sad.
You just have no idea what’s going on inside anyone’s head.
The incident with her boyfriend hinted at someone who was more than highly strung.
Senseless really gutted so stupid.

Pisses me off when you see this making news headlines when there are far more important things happening in the world.
Just so sad that someone becomes so ‘down’ that they feel the need to take their own life. What I don’t understand is why the police/prosecution service felt the need to continue the prosecution when the alleged victim stated that he didn’t wish for charges to be proceeded with. It seems as if it was a ‘domestic’ that went OTT.
The whole issue of people taking there own lives is very sad, as we all know it is particularly prevalent in young males.
Ketts, the reason the Police/CPS continue with prosecutions against a person in these situations is because it is treated as a domestic issue. Back along, 15/20 years ago, the victims of domestic abuse nearly always dropped their complaint and therefore the perpetrator did not go to court and the abuse would continue, after perhaps, a short interlude. Most often the evidence was quite visible to attending emergency services, I.e. injuries or the house is trashed etc. Also, quite often children might be in the home, so there is a need to protect them.
If it is a domestic incident, and there is physical injuries or other evidence to show violence has taken place, then the attending emergency service personnel along with doctors can now provide the evidence to sustain a conviction even if the victim will not. It is done to protect a person who generally is not in a position to stay strong against a partner who they actually fear.
It is mainly women who are the victims of domestic abuse although I believe it is rising in regard to males. Men are much more reluctant to have it known they are victims of domestic abuse, therefore the services do not always get involved. There is rightly no difference between how males and females are dealt with by the system.
Perhaps not a perfect solution but I reckon it would have helped many over the years finally get out of a domestic nightmare, or convince the perpetrator to seek the correct help.
As I said in opening , it is very sad.

I had never heard of her until i saw it in yesterday mornings Times on Sunday. People who read rags like the Sun, Mirror, Star etc will watch the kind of programmes she presented. When I pay good money for a newspaper I like to make a cup of tea and sit down for an hour or so and read about real news, not what minor celebrities get up to in their spare time.
