Well the Chronic are trying to make a big deal of what Darren Bent said about him, i.e. that he needs to look at his performances and wonder why he hasn't had an England call-up but, from what I can tell, he hasn't said much that's wrong.

Far from kicking on when we were singing songs about Southgate having his number, I think he's actually gone backwards.

As for the team, I'd have a back 3 of Lejeune, Fernandez and Schar, Rose and Lazaro as wing backs, Hayden and Shelvey in the middle (you know I'm a fan of the Longstaffs but, at the minute, I reckon when Hayden and Shelvey are on form, they're our best bet currently) with Almiron, Carroll and Saint-Maximin up front. (is Carroll available?)

    Dubravka

    Schar Lascelles Lejeune

    Lorenzo Matty Bentaleb Rose

    Almiron The Saint

    Gayle

The sooner we move to 4 at the back the better...but I don't think Lorenzo is ready and I don't think it's fair to put him up against Zaha in that position.

I don't think Gayle is Prem quality..but Joelinton has proved he's not either...

If Carrol is fit i'd rather have him upfront. Offers pretty much the same as our other super strikers but is an asset at set pieces in our box as well as the opposition.

Agreed...I didn't think he was close to fit though, so ignored him...

    Here's Ashley's/Bruce's team.

    Joelinton
    Joelinton, Joelinton, Joelinton, Joelinton
    Joelinton, Joelinton, Joelinton
    Joelinton, Joelinton
    Joelinton.

I typed them spaced out in team formation

but they came out in military fashion.

I know he's not a favourite but I remember the last time we played CP Manquillo played a blinder and owned Zaha.

    No, you're right, he did.

Whilst he's still a pretty poor player most of the time, he was so much better when played in his natural position on the right.
