    Name your team

We all know who Bruce is going to play against QPR but what team would you field on Saturday ?
I would try this. Puzzled where to put Schar so just bunged him in there.

    Dubravka

    Schar Fernandez Lejuene Rose

Lazaro S. Longstaff Shelvey St. Max

    Almiron

    Gayle

something has to change mate, he has used the excuse in the past that this is the only way the players know how to play, thats fine but they are not performing or getting results. Bruce and his staff have had time to work on new formations and game plans.

Palace are on a bad run of form lately and will see is as a chance to turn things around.

Id go back to a flat back 4 and play to the strengths of the players, let the fullbacks get forward and wide, hit crosses and use the wide lads to cut in and get bodies in the middle and have a go.

id use Scharr as a defensive minded midfielder to sit there and pick off attacks

    Lazarro_______Lejeune______Lascelles_________Rose

    Almiron________Schar_______Longstaff_______Ritchie

    ._______________Gayle______Saint

I actually like that set up but i'd rotate Longstaff/Shelvey, maybe half/half. My thinking is that Shelvey can ping a couple of balls over the top for Saint to run on to. The old Keegan method - you score 3 but we'll score 4.

    Lejeune Fernandez Schar Ritchie

    Lazaro Almiron Longstaff /Hayden Joelinton

    Saint Gayle

I know, I know Joelinton, but I wonder what he is like in his proper position as an attacking midfielder. Dont trust Lazaro defensively and dont think Rose is match ready yet so fullbacks are a bit of a gamble.
But I do know I am just like Mike Bassett and would play 4 4 effing 2

Here's a formation that I've wanted to see for a long time, but that Bruce wouldn't field:

    -------------------------------- Dubravka -----------------------------

    Lazaro ------------ Fernandez ------------ Lejeune ------------ Rose

    ---------------------------------- Schär --------------------------------
    ---------------- Shelvey --------------------- Longstaff --------------

    ----- Almiron -------------------------------------- Saint Maximim ---
    --------------------------------- Gayle ---------------------------------

Sørensen coming on for Gayle 2nd half.

Yes, it's a good spot for Schar.
