    Coco's hearing

Last week it was supposed to be Tuesday and Wednesday, and yesterday it was 'by the end of the week'.

    Anyone know what's happening?

Minimum of 6 games if he's found guilty - is that with immediate effect?

He's either said something that is racist or he hasn't!

And leave things right down to the wire regarding team selection in order to f00k us about, surely the EFL wouldn't stoop so low?

Just wondered..if he is found guilty and gets a 6 game ban can he then appeal the ban or is that it?

To do maximum damage they'll announce it early next week. 6 games but with an option to appeal. they'll reject the appeal the last week of the season.

Meslier will have not played so he'll come in the last game of the season and the playoffs, if we make them, and he be under maximum pressure. However, it's likely that even then he won't go out all over the pitch as a marauding 11th man attacker.

Guilty or not guilty, it’s a distraction that we don’t need.
And I don’t think that it being a distraction, is a worry for the EFL. They’re happy enough to let it drag.

Apparently the reason this has dragged on so long is because Casilla appealed the original charge, and was given time to collect evidence to support his appeal, otherwise he'd have accepted the guilty charge and been given his punishment straight away. And because e appealed the original charge if he is now found guilty he'll definitely get the maximum 6 game ban, whereas if he hadn't contested the charge he might have got less
