It certainly seems to be the case I think he could go through the rest of the season and not score another Premiership goal.

This bull shyte about once he gets a goal it will kickstart his season and will go on a run. It won’t happen

He got 2 against Div 3 teams not so long ago that was supposed to bolster his confidence. Unfortunately you can bolster his confidence as much as you want. If you are sh1t you are sh1t. Bottom line is, he is stealing a living.

Still, Gayle is our best striker IMO.

What has Carroll done this season???

Or maybe Sørensen is our best striker and he couldn't get into the team at Carlisle.

I agree. I just think that if non of our 'strikers' are scoring then Carrol offers a bit extra at set pieces, especially in defence against opposition corners etc...

    Good point, Milburn.

He does offer more in the rest of the game, but he doesn't offer goals and for me that's his main job. Having said that, a lot of it comes down to the tactical setup as well.

Well even if he plays and doen't score then he's doing no worse that the incumbent "strikers"

Supermac and Shearer would have struggled to score goals in that side they have virtually no creativity

The full backs are our best strikers this season.
