    In his prime, you'd think Wayne Rooney could have made a decent fist of any outfield position.

    That reminds me...Dyer could play through the middle...or go in a strop when he had to play on the wing...

    Jack Charlton would have made a good traditional no. 9

    Supermac was a successful full back before he went up front. I've also heard but not witnessed that Kevin Nolan was a decent keeper.
