O/T Breaking News

There was a time going back maybe 10 (ish) years when most current affairs events were flagged up on here. I used to check MM as it was first with news stories and comment (if it wasnt on here I doubted it happened).

It made for a really vibrant message board and, if I remember, one of the most used boards of the mad sites. Will it die like other sites if confined to RUFC football posts?

He’s been struggling obviously with the lack of O/T threads which he thrives, I suppose it’s too much for him to actually just stick with political message boards that are out there

Oh dear.

I was actually thinking more topical news items to broaden the interest. Give users more reason to check the board. Im sure if they look in more often they can contribute to the stuff about poor refs and VAR.

I was shocked to hear one of them was actually a Wendy fan. That's probably why he's also selling bacon sandwiches and pulled pork. Bit of authenticity

This board has always had a cross section of posts. In it hay day thats what made it a success and one of the best supported forum on the Mad network. Given its history and tradition not sure why you think it should just be football.
