    87 lc quarter final.

But it wouldn't be a question of a Dee.

It would be any dab who was in their pre extra time huddle.

Why did slugger take his side over to the Derry to deliver pep talk and get the torrent of abuse they got?

Was it a double bluff, was it to wind his own side up....never worked whatever the reason.

He was wagging his finger in their pusses in a total rage a wee bit like thon hull manager at ht.

He sat them Doon about 10 yards from the Derry in between centre circle and touchline in line with where Bobby Glennie hit his howitzer v the the sheep.

The players Sat with back to the Derry apart from a couple.

One player in particular was getting it tight who sat with head bowed the whole time.....I knew they were beat and said so to my pal at the time. To be topical one of the few times slugger made me SMILE.

Strangely I can't mind if Dee had similar pep talk, must have done but I can't mind.

Probably one of the last large attended non ticket games in Scotland.

Another question on a similar vein and maybe an aulder poster could answer.

The commentary on the Colonge game, was the English guy commentating from the Derry or the Main stand.?
