    18 points will do it.

We are already 10 points clear of Brentford ( who have a similar goal difference to us ) and if you count our far superior goal difference we are 10 points clear of Fulham.

Add 18 points to that and that’s a 28 point gap.

That means every other side needs to win 9 draw 2 and lose 1 of there last 12 games.

Winning 8 and drawing 4 wouldn’t be enough.

If we get 19 more points every other side needs to win 10 out of their last 12.

Can you seriously see any side outside the top two going on a run like that??

Even if we only win 4 draw 2 and lose 6 and get to 80 points ( nett 81 counting goal difference any chasing club still needs 8 wins from 12.

We are virtually home and hosed but I’d like to see us go up by tearing up the league rather than limping over the line.

I know we have been bad at home the last 6 games but I hadn’t realised we are in the bottom 3 based on the last 6 home games. Given that it is incredible just how far we are ahead of the ‘chasing’ bunch.

Our goal difference is currently useful to keep Leeds at bay. If we draw a few it'll also come in handy. If we start losing more games than we win, it will soon diminish. I'm sure not so long back we only had a slim goal difference lead over Leeds but recently its increased and today's game helps considerably :-)
    Good Times
