Thread: 14th in the league

    14th in the league

That's where we find ourselves in the table
If we don't start winning soon teams above will pull away from us
And teams beneath us will overtake
Wasn't long ago when a few had a tingle.in their pants
Wonder if that tingle has dropped

I still think we have enough points on board to scramble over the line-how we do is beyond me but we do, nevertheless. We'll fluke or scrape a couple of wins and a couple of draws because it's just been that sort of season.

Our style of play has to be the worst in the league and the quality of our football overall is appalling so if it doesn't happen this season it almost certainly will the next. Imagine giving Bruce tens of millions to spend after he said he was happy with the squad and didn't think we needed to add to a forward line who have one goal between them in 26 games.

He'll probably look at the squad and think 'aye, we need a new 'keeper and some more CBs'.

Ashley will be having nightmares with his Premier League prize money decreasing with every game.

    Agreed.

Probably beat Liverpool to deny them a season with no losses or something ridiculous like htat.

We have been so lucky so far. The football we play is so dire.

I didn't think it could get worse than the ****e McClaren served up but Bruce has topped him.

Losing all interest to be honest.

We mugged spuds , Everton , Man U and a good few others by 80% defending and refusing to even attempt any possession .
We used up a thousand cats lives and the same 4 leaf clovers and rabbits feet, in grabbing late winners.
We have enough in the bag to stay up , Norwich , villa , whu, got it all to do.

we wont go down far to good

less pressure this season than last due to the better start

this season we have hardly been talked about as relegation prospects but last season due to the very poor start we were always in it until the end of feb mid march when we put a run together

there are far worse teams than us in this league

Sadly there isn't....I would only count Norwich as worse...they play better football but are too soft...
