I still think we have enough points on board to scramble over the line-how we do is beyond me but we do, nevertheless. We'll fluke or scrape a couple of wins and a couple of draws because it's just been that sort of season.

Our style of play has to be the worst in the league and the quality of our football overall is appalling so if it doesn't happen this season it almost certainly will the next. Imagine giving Bruce tens of millions to spend after he said he was happy with the squad and didn't think we needed to add to a forward line who have one goal between them in 26 games.

He'll probably look at the squad and think 'aye, we need a new 'keeper and some more CBs'.

We have been so lucky so far. The football we play is so dire.

I didn't think it could get worse than the ****e McClaren served up but Bruce has topped him.

We mugged spuds , Everton , Man U and a good few others by 80% defending and refusing to even attempt any possession .
We used up a thousand cats lives and the same 4 leaf clovers and rabbits feet, in grabbing late winners.
We have enough in the bag to stay up , Norwich , villa , whu, got it all to do.

Sadly there isn't....I would only count Norwich as worse...they play better football but are too soft...
