    Nketiah scores for Arsenal

Nketiah just scored for Arsenal against Everton. Nice goal. I think Bielsa should have started him in a championship match.

I think he'll be in the England squad for the qualifiers and (hopefully) world cup 2022. The lad knows where the net is. 1 goal in 4 career ratio so far at club level. Better at age group international level - 27 goals in 29 appearances.

Would have loved the lad to stay with us for the season especially with Bamford's lack of firepower.

Good point. With Kane injured, might well be in the England squad. As Rev said, should have kept him. Bamford doesnt finish with any conviction.

At the moment would have felt happier with nketiah waiting on the bench than having Augustine, your knew with nketiah he was fit and likely to get you a goal, god knows what they were thinking getting someone who's nowhere near fit or ready....smacks of desperation.

I watched the whole game and, as well as taking his goal exceptionally well, his hold-up play, movement and general positioning seemed very astute for a young player still learning his trade.

If he's good enough to keep Lacazette on the bench...

    An opportunity missed, imho.

Hope we don't live to regret this missed opportunity. It wouldn't have been such an issue if Bamford was slightly less profligrate with his scoring opportunities.
