Remember playing them in the mid 70's attendance more than 40,000 SME. with 8000+ Geordies the noisiest away fans I've ever heard at The Hawthorns. Lost 0-3 MacDonald and Tudor took us apart.
    Latchford
    Nisbet
    Wilson
    Cantello
    Wile
    Robertson
    Johnston
    T Brown
    Shaw
    Hartford
    Glover

    COYB indeed.

I was living in Handsworth when we played that game. Never seen so many away fans at our ground. There was even a Geordie banner hanging out of a flat window at the top of our road. We got totally mullered that game, never in it.

Looks like BBC have decided to show next Tuesday's game on the red button.

I heard it was iplayer rather than the simple red button. That should put a stop to any more ticket sales

Good news for those who get up there. But nothing beats being up the Albion.

I have had to relocate from the Smethwick to the Brummie Road. Hopefully we can make a good atmosphere

Massive like. Love the Cup. I'll be there Tuesday, staying overnight.

A quick rough tot up of the tickets available in the various areas around the ground suggests there are still 4,500 tickets remaining
