Francis, - to cut through the crap, you seem to forget that Johnston and his side-kick are paid handsomely to deliver on the criteria set out by the BOD. He is not doing this out of the goodness of his heart, - so let's not forget that.

The fact of the matter is that the managers at Arbroath and Alloa are doing very much better than we are.

Johnston and Clarke signed a contract, - knowing the conditions of that contract. They cannot turn round and say it's not their fault because they've been unable to bring in suitable players based on the wage cap. The problem is they've not brought in grafters like the Alloa's and Arbraoth's and the Livi's before them.

Alloa were 4-2 down at half time on Saturday, - if that had been Queens they'd have thrown in the towel. What we need are people to roll up their sleeves and give 100% until the last whistle.

Too many times this season we've lost stupid goals late on through mental and physical tiredness.

Steven Dobbie was right, - our boys should be going back for extra training to dig out results like Alloa and Arbroath.

nice thought out comment jardi ,no berating or negativity in it ,and i agree with all this ,as iv said we need a manager in there that can motivate lazy players or uninterested players and i dont think johnston is the man for that ,i dont meean to bang on about the board as much jardi but when it comes down to it its them who employ the managers and the staff and give them the restraints which you call criteria to work with ,?

i reckon the managers at arbroath and alloa hit a bit harder than johnston ,there main objective is to just merely avoid relegation ,queens are a massive club compared to those 2 with a massive potential support base compared to them .

Still doesn't stop Queens from relegation.

Of course it doesn't. Falkirk are a far bigger club than Queens with an average home gate of 3.5 to 4k and they were relegated last season - as we all know.

Exactly. I was just thinking that last night after posting how large a fan base the Bairns have and they were relegated to the Seaside League.
