    Shrimps...

...are on a relatively good run at the moment. Another place we don't seem to play well at. Anyone going? We are and looking forward to a comfortable win(gulp! &#129322

Good to see you getting with the ‘expecting a win’ programme gazan! You know it makes sense, shall we say 3-1?

Hopefully the next phase of this winter's climate crisis won't influence the game, including the game being on or transport being disrupted

Hopefully a good game of football and 3 points today. Anyone going to the game?

Well that was mildly frustrating! Game not too bad. Morecambe better than their current position. They certainly knew how to play us but we were also at fault.
    1) they squeezed the game into the middle 40 yards and hit us on the break.
2)we were a little one-trick-poneyish and relied much too heavily on Walker- although in truth he could have had a hat-trick.
    3) we were really wasteful in front of goal - regularly slashing at the ball instead of putting the boot through it.
    4) as usual Finney had little impact apart from tamely hitting the ball when given a couple of chances
    5) we really need to vary our approach vis a vis the two wide players. Too often Porter had to cover acres of ground while the two wide men hugged the sidelines and no midfielders came through the channels.
I can't wait for Lowery to get back to fitness so we can work the ball through the middle with a little purpose.
Still we're not losing and Spring is just around the corner. However, today was a lost opportunity to take advantage of Swindon not playing.
    MOTM errrr maybe Offord.

Offord is like Wintle , he does his job to a very high standard but under the radar . He is a fantastic player and has a great future in front of him
