    80 quid? is that all?

Where did you see this Stenson. I googled it and couldn't find it.

If it was £80, I'd be happy

The reality is, I wouldn't be surprised. It isn't the first time we've done that.
Like to know where Stenson gets his facts from though, they are different to mine.

Truth of the matter is, all clubs trying to get promotion do this.
Some are more honest about the fact than others though.

I still remember LCFC in 2002 going into admin, rather than settling their debts and getting promoted/
We sold our players and missed out on admin and promotion.

All I'll tell Stenson about his figures are.
We had a £25 million transfer budget in January. It was wage demands that stopped targets arriving. So on that I'll get worried, then they stop looking and close the purse.

Do you think the council would sell them the ground for £50 and allow them to overcome the problem in the short term by selling it on to their owner for £ 80 million?

But at £50 the council are overstating the value, no way is it worth that, doesn't even have the corners filled in never mind the capability of being able to put a roof on it

Think that’s where Stenson got his £80 from! Still...£30 profit isn’t bad for a shed that might soon be washed away.
