    I'm not estatic by this news but i'm also not that depressed by it.

    I think both are useful still particularly as i don't think we'll get any better with Ashley/Bruce at the helm.

    They'll be helpful in 2 years when we're playing chimpo again anyway.

    This does explain all of Ritchies comments reccently though.

    I think you're right. We are in no position (sadly) to be getting rid of players like them.

    Yep exactly this .. It means the fat kernt that owns us doesn't have to fork out transfer fees .
    It's just a money saving exercise .

    Sadly this is true and reflects Ashley's ambitions.
