I've absolutley nae idea what will happen, no got a clue.
With 6500 world wide deaths out of 170k confirmed cases again world wide oot a population of 8 billion, 8 f ucking billion people i think all this is being blown out of proportion
Irresponsible or not thats the numbers we currently have mate and sorry to say they're minimal as ****.
I just got back Saturday i was late getting back due to the platform I'm working on being on lockdown due to a suspected case offshore, when i left the UK the news was reporting on China and Italy, about a week ago the focus started changing to the UK, im sitting out there watching the news, looking at social media and the panic buying was genuinely worried about returning home, until i was home. Landed in Aberdeen and its business as usual, i got home and went out.
Saturday night, restaurants and bars were still heaving. I was in St Andrews yesterday and same again, was in Lidls yesterday for a few bits and bobs and managed to get everything i needed
My point here is IMO all the fear people have and the knee jerk reactions i.e. panic buying are created by the news and social media, a completely different case when i returned home, when i was out there, for 9 days i genuinely thought the world was ending

Sorry, I wasn't saying you were being irresponsible but rather the media in their reporting. So, I was actually agreeing with your sentiment.
i know you weren't mate, its all the media. Does anyone reckon any of the behaviour and panic of the public would be the same 15 years ago with no social media? Nae chance
Totally JJ, as ive said above, for aboot 9 days affshore there i thought i was coming home to the end of the world, nothings really changed since i've been away except the games being called off, everyone still working, going about their business, socialising. The media and social media painting completely different pictures
