Appere has been called up to under 21`s and if Shankland gets called up will the game now be off.

There is a rule but cannot remember if it`s 2 or 3 players that get called up.

Right found it, rule G7 and it`s if 3 players are called up .So it`s on, can go and get my tickets now.

Phuck that for a game of tennis - I’m at hospo that night!

Anyway, I’m not convinced it’s a given that Shankland will be picked. Griffiths is back and scoring while Shanks has gone off the boil slightly albeit mostly down to a lack of service. Consequently, it may well be him who drops out to accommodate the Thumb. If I’m being selfishly honest though, I would rather he was playing in Tangerine than Dark Blue that weekend.
