Thread: City v Burnley still on?

I really believe this is some sort of global conspiracy to control the masses.

I like Johnson's response - Keep calm, wash your hands while singing "Happy Birthday" and carry on!

It's the phooking flu, not a bleeding cholera epidemic!

Gives a good chance for Vydra to show what he is about.I think when we play Man City away most of us write it off as a loss before we start so there is nothing to lose.Maybe a chance for Brownhill as well?

....with a little investigation - BT....it becomes obvious that this is just another Suspect Event - take the Testing for instance - I read that they use a thing called PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) to look for viral sequencies by sampling DNA - it amplifies it to look "anything" foreign - as when you get the Flu - we'll be riddled with a hundred trillion viruses - hence the difficulty in finding a single pathogen - so what are they finding - some tiny and distant relation to it that they've blown up out of all proportion ?....but ok, maybe you do have a Virus, a remnant, or inconsiquential that wont cause a severe illness or have any ill effects - being why we see and hear from folk who've been tested positive, but feel fine...and as mentioned previously, this Cornovirus has many many varients, has been known about for a long time - and is said that we'll all get it at sometime in our lives - the level of which will vary from person to person, depending on it's load and their ability to fight it etc etc.....So, all they're doing, it seems, is using the weakest of those examples to Prove an Epidemic....See how phooked up that is !

and sorry BT - forgot to post a Link.

Since PCR is based on DNA amplification, false-positive or -negative outcomes may easily occur. In particular, a single PCR cycle results in very large numbers of amplifiable molecules that can potentially contaminate subsequent amplifications of the same target sequence . In fact, a primary source of false-positive reactions has been identified as carryover of amplified product from previous reactions

    C. pneumoniae is an obligate intracellular bacterium responsible for a variety of respiratory illnesses, including 10% of community-acquired pneumonias, bronchitis, pharyngitis, and sinusitis. Seroepidemiologically, 50 to 80% of the adult population has been shown to have prior exposure to this pathogen . Furthermore, recent studies have revealed that this bacterium may be involved in some chronic inflammatory diseases, such as asthma , arthritis , atherosclerosis, Alzheimer's disease , and MS . Since the culture of C. pneumoniae is difficult in most clinical laboratories, determination of this bacterium in clinical specimens has been widely performed using the PCR technique even though there is no standardized PCR method for detection of this organism. Therefore, PCR results with clinical specimens to detect this bacterium vary widely

We try to but our skittles league have suspended games for at least two weeks. The "Brains" pub we were in last night told us that all staff had been instructed to wear protective gloves and that "Brains" were not taking payment by cash from today, only card payments. It's usually a busy pub we use on a Friday but last night if we hadn't been there they might as well have closed.I'm now waiting for a decision from our indoor bowls Club where there are 700 plus members, currently they have stopped handshaking but what next.

Todays Science ?What do we know? How deep can we go inside the atom? (atom = 1 x 10-10 meters, or the electron - not known exactly, but thought to be on the order of 1 x 10-18 meters.
Is everything made of carbon atoms?
The short answer is… yes! Carbon atoms form the “backbone” of almost all the important biological molecules floating around in our bodies (except water, of course.) Therefore, when we say life is “carbon based,” we mean that our skin, hair and cells are all made out of molecules that contain large amounts of carbon......We don't know !

According to Shrii Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar, the founder of Progressive Utilization Theory in the 20th Century based on Intuition Science said said that virus is a vague term. These minutest living organisms are called Microvita in plural or Microvitum in the singular form.

The term "Microvita" is plural for "Micro-vitum" and literally means "micro-life". According to this intuition theory, microvita are entities which come within the realms both of physicality and of psychic expression. Microvita are the minutest particles of life.Shrii P.R.Sarkar(a great Indian spiritualist and futurologist of the 20th century said that Microvita are mysterious emanations of the Cosmic factor. They are mysterious because we don't know much about them at present. They are the components of life in the universe in the carbon atom.An atom of carbon, which we think is the basic component of life is made up of millions of Microvita which give life to the carbon atom.Microvita are smaller and subtler than physical atoms and subatomic particles, and in the psychic realm they may be subtler than mind–stuff, and contribute to "pure consciousness".

The Positive,Negative and Neutral Microvita float through the Cosmos and our lives including the flora and fauna of the earth or the universe are dependent on them. And Microvita are very important components of Spirituality. As for instance, while performing Akanda Kirtan(Calling God in a loud voice in unison by a group of minimum 5 people and continuously for hours) at a particular place, the positive Microvita gets attracted towards the place of the Kirtan and settle down in the clean waters of the area. This water when collected in bottles are called Microvita Water or we may call it 'Ganga Jal' in the layman's term. The Microvita Water has curative properties in treating illnesses of any kind because it contains positive Microvita.

Shrii P.R.Sarkar said that with the present progress of Science, the time has arrived to do scientific research on Microvita in order to discover it by conventional
Scientific Laboratories for the practical use of Microvita by humankind. The discovery of Microvita is now necessary in order to cure many physical, social, mental and psychological problems faced by the societies of the world today. That is why the "Theory of Microvita" and it's discovery is now the most important component of Spirituality today without which Mankind cannot progress.
