    City v Burnley still on?

Given the news that Man City v Arsenal has been postponed due to coronavirus, does this mean that our game on Saturday will also be called off?

I can't see this issue being resolved in three days!

The Daily Mail went a bit over the top this morning, showing a similar photo it said, 'Revellers packed the grandstand at Cheltenham yesterday as the racing world partied without a care in the world'.

'Revellers' ? No doubt quite a lot of Guinness and Bubbly were knocked back, but the overwhelming majority would walk off perfectly sober. FFS it's a race meeting not a New Years Eve party, and it isn't easy revelling when you're packed in like sardines.

All we need to do to survive this latest "crisis" is just do what Burnley do...

    From 'TALK SPORT' website:

"Plans that will see ALL football matches in England played behind closed doors could be triggered today (Thursday).

The government is expected to move to the 'delay' phase from the 'contain' stage in response to the coronavirus being declared a pandemic.

As of Wednesday night, the number of UK coronavirus cases stood at 460 and the plans could be implemented once this passes 500.

The Times say this will mean:

    ● The current season will not be postponed and instead matches in the Premier League and lower divisions will be moved behind closed doors

    ● All Premier League season-ticket holders and ticket holders for individual games will be able to stream coverage of matches into their homes

    ● No games will be shown in pubs so as to avoid congregation of people

    ● Season-ticket holders and ticket holders for individual games at Football League clubs will be allowed to watch matches on iFollow streams

    ● Premier League games will not be shown live in the 3pm slot on Saturday afternoons

    ● Broadcasters will be permitted to screen more than one Premier League game during both the lunchtime and tea-time television slots on Saturday, and the scheduled slots on Sundays and Mondays"

Map...and like I said - there's other options - like "allowing" differing opinions - just seems you prefer to call it, ridicule.
