I think I downloaded the app, created an account, linked it to Budapest (just kidding, it’s Aberdeen) City libraries, and then selected the publications I want to see, ‘favouriting’ them so that I can get The Guardian at 0200, and The Week, The New York Review of Books, and one of the cycling mags as they’re published. The EE (hardly worth reading) is always tardy. Yesterday’s didn’t arrive at all. The lazy little bastid who delivers it can go **** himself if he’s looking for a tip at Yuletide.

It seems you have to renew your sub every month, but that’ll be the next IT shouting match at Vintage Acres.

See you for an argument on the Independent letters page?

Edit: for some reason, none of that Nazi Murdoch’s papers are available.
    Cheers
I did try to look it up the last time you mentioned it, but Im not paying for it.

I spent the summer travelling in
    Scotland
    England
    France
    Belgium
    Germany
    Czech Republic
    Slovakia
    Hungary
    Austria
    Liechtenstein
    Switzerland

Came back via the tunnel and was let in with no more than a wave.

As it happens, I went out of my way to not have to self isolate when I came home
    ( I needn’t have bothered, nobody checked)

A neighbour spent his holiday weekend at Blackpool.
I spoke to him yesterday and he said everywhere they went it was packed with no effort whatsoever being put into being careful.

I was probably putting myself more at risk speaking to him for 5 minutes than I did all summer traveling.

If there’s an outbreak in Aberdeen next week, it probably comes from Blackpool.

If you join Aberdeen Libraries (all you need is an Aberdeen address) then you get press reader for free

Download the app first, for Android or IOS, set up your account, and then link it to Aberdeen City Libraries by using the number on your ACC Saltire card. There's a search function which will allow you to choose Aberdeen as your sponsoring library.
