It will just take a few people in Dumfries to get it and it will rip through the town.

BBC 5 live was saying America is starting trials tomorrow but it would be at least 18 months before any mass immunisation program.

By which time the virus has mutated many times, - meaning the vaccination is redundant.

I cannot stress this enough, this is the most serious issue the world has faced for over 100 years.

People are talking about matches having to be played before next season commences, but the sad fact is that we may be looking at the next again season, - before some semblance of normality resumes.

What we seem to have here Jardi is a virus that has mutated into a particularly aggressive form lethal to humans. The Coronovirus had been around for quite some time but in its less deadly form so hopefully if it does mutate then it does so to this less lethal type. Fingers crossed.

was in at doctors yesterday to get my antibiotics for my leg ,asked the doctor about this corona virus as thay had the surgery all locked down and only 1 person at a time let in and had to go through the sanitiser process then through to the doctor ,she said people under 50 should mostly get a mild flu symptoms but she said people over 70 could be a 50% mortality

I can't see this 19/20 season being played again this year.
All events are being scrapped rather than being on hold or rearranged which doesn't boad well.
Wonder what they will do ? Scrap this season? End it as it is now?

You are indeed a beacon of optimism Francis. Hope your GP isn’t sharing these observations with the over 70s themselves! Seriously though, I think you’re right to reinforce the severity of the situation. I fear we have a bit of a trek to go before we’re out of these woods.
