Do you think people who are are anti semitic have changed their views just because they have a new leader. Do you think racists change their views because it is against the law. They just keep quiet. Only a Jewish person can answer your question if it's gone away or not.
My point about anti-Semitism is that you couldn't move without it being held with a big stick to hit Corbyn and the labour party with (off course the Tories and Boris are not racist in the slightest) !
Since the election you never hear about it at all , it's as if the public couldn't give a damn about it at all and were only outraged about it in the first place because the press kept accusing Corby of being Racist and the voters bought it with Bells on.
I agree with you about Corbyn and his inactivity around Brexit and blame him and labour for not defending REMIAN long or loud enough. However his and the parties policies in general were good and for the benefit of the country but were slaughtered by the media and the public bought the T shirt on it.

It was a dirty campaign by the Tories.

They smeered Corbyn at every opportunity and based everything on the 'let's get Brexit done' which is why I believe they took so many seats in the north. However, they had no plan for how to get Brexit done (the NI situation is a good example) nor how to keep the new MPs onside post-Brexit.

But I still voted Conservative as the alternatives were even worse locally.

The press and the Tories did jump on it, but it was the Jewish MPs and members of the Labour party that first bought the subject up about racism in their own party. Neil Kinnock spent years kicking out the socialist worker party supporters who had infiltrated the party in the 80s allowing Blair to benefit and win 3 elections. Then first Milliband and then Corbyn let them back in making them unelectable in the public's eyes. Hopefully Starmer can sort it out but I would like to see Andy Burnham become leader, he would thrash Johnson in an election imo.

Burnham does nothing to impress that he could be a leader of the Country - he just seems to throw his dummy out of the pram if things don’t go his way. If Labour see him as a potential leader then they are forever doomed to the opposition benches. Starmer is a decent chap and he has integrity however, IMO he lacks leadership qualities and that added thing called ‘charisma’. Just a shame we can’t convince David Milliband to come back to the fold.

Yes some of the Jewish community were on board with the Tories, those that wined and dined with the top tories at the top table at that time, probably looking for a peerage or a title of some sort, or a dodgy contract.

Kinnock was before my time I'm afraid regarding politics I just walked around scratching my balls back then.

I do like the cut of Burnham's jib but he looks like he wears mascara and has painted on eye brows, the media will have a field day on this come the elections.
Angela Rayner has gone up in my estimation but again the press will have her fof breakfast come the elections so we are left with Kier for the remaining.

An intelligent guy who's making Boris look like the fool on the hill at present but the same rule applies.Come the elections the media and social media campaigns will make labour look like the child snatcher from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and the public will forget about all that's gone before and fall for promises of shiny sparkly things delivered by those that live in mansions from foreign shores with monies resting in far away bank accounts.

It can be true that there is/was a problem with anti semitism on the far left of the Labour Party AND it has been used as to beat it with by people who’ve never given a toss about any form of racism.

Of course Johnson promised on live tv to Sajid Javid an enquiry into islamophobia in the Tory party but that’s turned out to be another lie.

Steer Calmer forensically takes Bozo apart at PMQ most weeks but Joe Public isn't looking - what he/she likes is Bozo's smiling buffoonery. I am wondering whether Burnham's charisma would make a better job.
