The British public don't forget things like that and it'll always be in Boris's armour that Starmer couldn't make a firm decision and became a ditherer. But of course all this doesn't matter in the greater scheme of things does it? The Tories have an unassailable majority. You don't think so - naturally .... but Boris is an enigmatic leader who has pulled the Tories together and with this majority as well, he can do the hell what he likes and has the time to do it in. In a way I feel sorry for Starmer .... he himself has admitted there's a mountain to climb to get Labour back on track, not damage by what he's done but by the insane idiots that preceded him.

ps Substitute 'Greedy' for 'Ruthless' if you think it sounds better - although it's basically the same in the context I meant it to be.
He will make him squirm at PMQ. KS will be a different challenge from what JC was.

Take away 'Get Brexit done' and I am not sure what Boris has left. Don't forget that there will be the inquest into how the Govt handled the Coronavirus crisis he will have to deal with. BJ may have the goodwill of the majority of the public at the moment but the longer the lockdown goes on, will that goodwill hold?

The public enquiry we can expect will, unfortunately, be made to drag on for years, if previous (and current - Grenfell) ones are anything to go by. This is one of the ways politicians manage criticism.

I believe they all are being honest, frank and as decisive as they can be facing this dreadful world-changing virus. I just wish they would not allow the lowlife gutter press particularly the Sun, Mirror & Daily star at these briefings who ask the most bazaar and stupid questions just to try and get a headline. These are strange and frightening times unknown by pretty much most of us, almost a war-like situation but it is what it is and at times like this the leadership being shown is just what the Country needs.
Hmmm, you should be a little bit embarrassed by your early verdict on this government's 'leadership, don't you think, Banjo?

Another Hmmm ...... Time and events do alter a person's opinion and always have done. Nobody on here loathed Corbyn/McDonnell more than me, in my opinion just two class warriors acting like unpatriotic C'nts and in my view at least showing the public what far left Socialism views mean ...... and it rightly got them obliterated. I called Starmer a stumer, and worse a few weeks ago but after seeing him take the reins I've altered (so far) my view of the man. He appears more statesmanlike than ever his predecessor was and although still appearing stiff and lacking Boris's charisma, will I think, make a decent leader of the opposition.

Banjo shot his load before he’d even managed to get his trousers off.

I've just heard on the news that we might end up with the highest death toll in the whole of Europe. If it does end up like that, I wonder if Banjo will still be "impressed with the leadership"?

At least seriouspie will be proved right, he always said that Boris was a leader.
