I know very little of the highland league. Years ago I worked with a guy who’s son managed a highland league team. Hopefully the experts on here will tell me what team? The son’s name was Gordon Connelly. Was he any good as a manager in that league?

He was a decent player back in the day.
He was a youth coach at County (maybe still is?) and I have a recollection of him managing Wick Academy, couldn't, off the top of my head, tell you for how long or how he did.

He was manager at Forres Mechanics….he played for Ross County for approximately 10 years.

He managed Wick between 2014 and 2017.

He won the North of Scotland cup in 2015-2016 season,the only silverware Wick have won since joining the Higland League in 1994

Thanks for the information. As said previously, it’s not a league I am familiar with. It’s interesting to see how someone you know well son is getting on at football or how they done as such. I had a look on Google and he is very like his old man.
