If they had just shut down the pubs at like, 5pm, I wonder how many fewer transmissions there would have been across the UK
As i have said before, believe it or not the Government did not have the powers to shut down the pubs and the pubs knew that.

OK bearing that in mind I wonder how many fewer transmissions there would have been had the government got their shut together and closed down the pubs on the day before, Thursday night. That announcement at 5pmish on friday was woefully poor timing

This past weekend has put us back by at least a month before we start to get out the other end of this. BUT, I’m pretty sure that we knew that that was a poor Governmental decision and you still had the opportunity on an individual level to choose NOT to hit the boozer and do the right thing to protect yourself and most importantly, our community. Some chose to do the opposite. Tw@ts.

Common sense. That's all it would've taken.

The Dolphin were advertising their party much earlier than 5PM mate,i was working in the Ferry early morning when my son told me that they posted that Scotland was going into lockdown after closing time Friday night.I have heard at least two people but perhaps more would possibly have been virus free tonight if they had stayed at home on Friday which was the advice from both Holyrood and Westminster.
I genuinely hope that those people across the United Kingdom who ignored the advice of their respective governments on Friday did not visit their mothers and grandmothers on Mothering Sunday, another thing they were asked not to do.
