Also in Japan, the traditional Christmas meal is KFC.

The traditional Christmas dinner in Japan is - as odd as it sounds - KFC. Families will order buckets of fried chicken to eat together and it’s the busiest time of year by far at KFC stores. They have extra staff and accept orders in advance to be able to deal with the demand. As well as the regular options which are available all year round, there are lots of premium packages available over Christmas. You can get a pack with everything you need for Christmas, including food, wine and cake. All this is thanks to the first ever KFC manager in Japan, who started promoting ‘Kentucky for Christmas’ in the 1970s. With no Christmas tradition in existence, it was heartily embraced, and now an entire generation considers it completely normal to have your Christmas dinner from a fast food chain.

Without bats there would be no tequila. It’s made from the agave plant, which is pollinated by bats.

Seismologists are reporting with all these 'lock downs' in place, less road travel, less air travel, less construction is noticeable in the fact that the Earth is shaking much less. Just goes to show that we are impacting our planet in ways we probably never really considered.

Maybe that wasnt a recognised word when that trivia fact was created lol. I've definitely read underground being the only word that starts with and ends with und as I used it as a quiz tie break question 25 years ago in the pub.

In the 2019 European Elections, one British voter wrote 'w**k' next to every party on their ballot slip except for the Green Party, which they annotated with 'not w**k'. This was deemed acceptable as a vote.

    What?

Early risers make less ethical choices at night, and night owls make less ethical choices in the morning.
