He has gained respect from the USA’s main trading partner: China. By not lying down (like Obama) and standing up to China he has put the US economy in s stronger position. The lowest unemployment rate in history proves it.
Of course he makes mistakes (who doesn’t) and says things he shouldn’t but those who describe him as some kind of fool who does nothing right have no credibility.
I agree that not acknowledging him doing some good would be uncredible. I don't know what evidence suggests that he's actually, in reality, done more for the working man than the other presidents mentioned, but it could be true. You could also add that Reagan, Trump's hero, ended his second term having provided an even bigger gap between the working class and the upper class of American people - Reagonomics - and increased the poverty level of the country. So he has to be included then on that list.

You'd have to be blind and deaf not to see that Trump is a pathetic liar and a complete narcissist who cannot be trusted. By pathetic, I mean the real definition of the word; overly emotional in a child-like manner - at least that's my definition.

Take Covid-19. First, he claimed that the virus (which he insists on calling the Chinese Virus because he thinks it's all their fault) would never come to America, and anyhow it wasn't that bad. Then, when he saw the development and spread of the virus , he claimed that he had always said it would come and that he had handled it greatly. He claimed that everybody could be tested, although it was later proved that the testing setup was not ready. It is very clear that he is just making things up as he goes along. Sure, it might turn out to be fine in the States, but it's by chance; would we want that in a war situation???

It's all lying and self-denial. Not just changing his mind. He's a liar and he's getting away with it all the time. Other presidents, such as Clinton, lied too. So I'm not excusing them. Obama was (probably to many) a disappointment overall during his presidency. I'm just talking about Trump here.

Calling it the Chinese virus, by the way, has poured fuel on the existing fire of hatred towards Asian Americans and has led to physical violence. Not exactly the ideal way of dealing with the situation, you know, suggesting the Virus is based on ethnicity...

    Send her to jail.

    She ignored the working class.

    Arrogant.

    Uninspiring.

    Missed an own goal.

Too reliant on data and not people in the election campaign.

We will never know what she would have done if elected - but I hear she is talkng about running again. Hope not.

Words fail me that anyone with a modicum of common sense thinks that idiot is fit for purpose. For those that might try and turn my sentence into meaning someone else. I mean trump and on one else.

If this is the best we got and with the other blonde now having to actually read about Churchill do's and don'ts then god help us all.

As has been said Trump is the best of a bad bunch, but who else are you going to vote for, Biden, Obama's poodle ? Totally useless.

Does not Bernie Sanders stand for the working class also but without having to make a profit out of them! Though I suspect he is seen as the same as old Corbo. What happened to all those Republicans that fought against Trump and swear never to support him - were there Democrats in hiding!

I am hoping that the one thing we do all agree on, well 90+% of us on here is that the lot of them are not inspiring - if it's the best we got then we need as people to step up to the mark, man up/woman up and change it so that we have belief once again in politicians. Is that possible?

Yes, Sanders is looked upon like Corbyn is in the UK. He had some good points but went overboard and Americans are not enthused by socialist politicians, he should have toned it down a bit right from the start because he was doing really well. He'll probably be on the Democrat ticket alongside Biden in November.

Agree with Ian - who is taking the side of the working people more than Bernie?

Look at how f*cked a lot of Americans are right now because they are losing their jobs due to this situation, and there is no reliant system to fall back on, no financial or social security, no public healthcare system that is affordable. This is not just Trump's fault, mind you, but he is certainly taking the piss. Constantly.
