I have been speaking to a financial advisor today and he reckons you should be ok to pause your pension payments,as i have mentioned on another thread my provider Prudential will not take any calls. He is going to E Mail a friend who deals with the Pru and will get back to me if he gets an answer.
My main concern for everyone is if you were to cancel your DD and succumb to the virus would the death benefit still be paid out?.His answer is yes but as i say i will wait to see if he gets a definitive answer.

I would just like to give special thanks that at this difficult time a financial advisor(Arab)who does not do any work for me took the time to try and help me out.The Pru finally got in touch with me yesterday afternoon and told me there were no penalties for pausing my pension.
To anyone out there in the same boat as me,there are many different pensions and mine is over 30 years old.We will not see any money until June at the earliest so if you do need to cut back on your outgoings get in touch with your provider to see if you can do the same.
