    Amazing match.

We were very competitive in a hard fought match on a big occasion against a strong side - and we won.

Could see the quality, experience, togetherness of a remarkable team. Already that team had a bit of maturity to know how to play Celtic. The pace and attack still great to see.

The Bonner assault on kirkwood through on goal not getting a yellow was a bit of comedy

    Professional foul in those days

For those that are interested, the goals v Celtic you saw in the opening credits of tonight’s broadcast were from that season’s League Cup Semi first leg which finished 1-1 and is very rarely seen. We of course went on to beat Celtic 3-0 in the second leg at Parkhead before getting the bye of the Funsters at Dens in the Final. So, we put Celtic out of BOTH cups that season. #WASC.

Watching that game there certainly no signs that Hampden was or would allegedly become a hoodoo for us at that time.
When do fans or media start talking about it being a hoodoo? After the LC Final 81-82 v Oldco.?

Hamish wasn't wearing any gloves for the penalty but then appeared to be wearing a pair made from black plastic bags later on.

Packie Bonner's assault was a red card and not even a yellow!

I would say that it was during the 85/87/88 glut of finals mate.
