You didn’t say that the closures of your local tips were temporary in your original post so I presumed you meant this was a permanent problem.

Sometimes the easiest thing to do is to order a mini skip for a few weeks, something I do quite often.

When i worked for the council fly tipping was the biggest problem, costing the council and taxpayers thousands of pounds. In Whitmore Reans it was dumped on the streets blatantly, huge piles of bags, fridges, settees used to appear overnight, often in the same place.
It would take a day and a few trips to the tip to clear it and would be back again the next day.
They employed enforcement officers who ignored the fly tippers even though they knew which houses it was coming from, and knocked a dog walker off for dropping a matchstick.
When we cleaned up after Gypsies entire work gangs were diverted from normal duties, and i have spent a day or even two, in a skip wagon, being filled by a JCB, then driving to the tip and back.
It gives you a good idea of the kind of problem we have with it.

Someone I know who owns a large field had Gypos on it for a week. It cost him £7K to get the site cleaned and this was 10 years ago. And they wonder why everyone hates the filthy scum

Hi Stripes, also looked after the sewage works in Drayton lane another problem area. Lane leading up to works constantly had **** dumped. I travel all round our counties and find Worcestershire amongst the most picturesque. Sadly it's got the worst fly tipping element of all the shires.
