That's it then. Official records will soon be changed to state that Hitler died of Coronavirus. The self-inflicted gunshot to his head was incidental.

It's also now strongly suspected that Coronavirus killed John F Kennedy seconds before he was shot.

I reckon Jack The Ripper has strong grounds for appeal, it wasn't him it was coronavirus.

It figures. For around 80% of people Coronavirus only causes mild or moderate symptoms, but serious cases can lead to spontaneous disembowelment.

Boris has been admitted to hospital for tests.

He didn't look at all well the other day.

Looks like the Prince Of Wales is off the hook.

Precautionary and scheduled they say, not an emergency admission. Boris looks a bit dishevelled at the best of times but in the video he said the remaining symptom was a high temperature, so given that pneumonia is a known complication and we don't know if he has any underlying conditions, it seems a sensible measure.

Plenty of people with no underlying conditions (and fitter than Boris) have ended up in hospital for a week or two with this.

It's quite rare for a serving PM to be admitted to hospital, and it's quite unusual during a national health emergency to occupy a hospital bed unless really necessary, so I'm sceptical about it being 'scheduled', whatever that means in this context.

It's not long since he was boasting about shaking hands with coronavirus patients on a walkabout so from a presentational point of view it's normal that they should try to minimise it.
